Practical Engineering Essex Ltd is now approaching its 5th year of trading from the Springfield Industrial Estate in Burnham-on-Crouch. We have recently invested heavily in our own large industrial premises in replacement of our previous less suitable rented unit. We have provided fabrication services to both local and national clients including marine yards, commercial vehicle operators, architects, builders as well as the general public. Previous customers have included the University College Hospital and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

We have made many marine items such as push pits, pull pits, ladders, stanchions and cradles while still catering for those small repairs and accident damage. For the commercial vehicle operator we offer many products and services including vehicle and trailer inspections, fuel tanks and catwalks. The repair of ali ejectors and tippers along with the manufacture of sheet systems are our particular areas of specialty. We have tremendous experience in this field due to operating commercial vehicles for many years.

We also operate a mobile MMA, Tig and Mig welding service using the latest equipment along with the construction and erection of structural steel for the building industry. Railings, gates and machining can also be catered for.

Recently we aquired South Essex Skips in Basildon and now manufacture skips and rollon-off bins of all sizes for ourselves and other companies in the waste and recycling sector.
